Hello everyone and Welcome to 4Pillar Wellness!

My name is Bill Combs, and I am the owner of 4Pillar Wellness.  I started this company with one goal in mind: To help others achieve the same success in transforming their lives that I found by transforming mine, in making changes to my life associated with each of the 4 Pillars.  I began my own journey in early 2014, when at that time I weighed nearly 280 lbs, had back issues, terrible eating habits, no energy, was completely out of shape, and focused all my time and energy on mental distractions. Needless to say, my life was completely and totally out of balance in nearly every way.  My 4 Pillars were a mess.   After an accident and then later health issues, I realized that I needed to make some profound changes or risk having a very short life, and more importantly, one that was devoid of joy, harmony and balance.

So from the ground up I started to make changes, but I didn't make these changes all at once. Instead, I added them to my life little by little over time.  In fact, even to this day I am still adding more.  To date I have made many  changes, and not just to my diet, but also changes that affected my Heart, my Mind, and my Spirit.   These adjustments to how I was living triggered some amazing changes.  The easiest of these to measure was my weight loss of over 60 pounds and overall health, but beyond that, it’s a change in how I look at life, other people, and the world.

About 18 months after my accident, I came to the realization that I wanted to give back and help others accomplish the same thing.  I wanted to help others start on their own path of discovery and health.  So I began to study nutrition, the power of food as medicine, Mindfulness, Meditation, Homeopathic remedies, Aromatherapy and the use of Essential Oils, Western Herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic dietary and herbal knowledge.  I then enrolled in formal training to become a Health Coach, Essential Oil Specialist, Aromatherapist, and Herbalist.  While that might seem excessive, I wanted to have a diverse and comprehensive tool belt in order to help as many people as I could.

Throughout this journey, I have seen the impact of unhealthy lifestyles on my friends and family, and so I have worked with many of them to help guide their changes.  I have found many of my female friends to be hit the hardest due to impacts to their hormones from poor food.  I decided to specialize my training in working with hormonal challenges for both men and women.

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.

I studied with the world's top health and wellness experts including:

Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help them make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of the Body, and the power of food to heal it; the importance of the Mind, and power of intention and mindfulness to motivate your changes; the amazing power of the Self, the center of which is your heart and the life changing power of gratitude and compassion; and finally rediscover the human spirit, and the nourishing power of a spiritual life.  These are the 4 Pillars upon which we build our life.  Let me help you build yours!
