My Top 5 Internet Resources for Healthy Living!

We are blessed to be living during an amazing time. Information is literally at our fingertips, and almost anything you want to know, you can, in a matter of minutes. That said, there is so much information available, and so much of it can be conflicting, that finding a good reputable source can sometimes be a significant challenge. In the area of Nutrition, and Health and Wellness this is even more of a challenge, and often times can be very confusing. With that said, I wanted to share with you my top 5 Websites I use for information, and supportive products. While I use products from these companies and am happy with the results, I am not formally endorsing them. What works for me may not necessarily work for you, but if you are thinking about using similar products, it would be worth it to add these to your research list.

So without further ado, My Top 5 List of Internet Resources!

Environmental Working Group

This is a massive site with tons of information on a variety of issues including toxins in our food supply, toxins in common household products, water quality, etc. It includes the famous Dirty Dozen produce list which covers the fresh fruits and veggies that tested highest in toxins and pesticide residues. When shopping for these, I would always recommend going with the organic version if at all possible. It also lists the Clean 15, which are the cleanest conventionally produced fruits and veggies which you can confidently use to help stretch your food dollars. Everything else falls somewhere in between, and you have to make that decision based on availability, and your food budget. I always recommend going organic whenever possible for anything outside the clean 15.

Dr. Axe

Dr. Axe is a popular internet personality who specializes in helping people get healthy and well. He is a Chiropractor, and has many informative articles on his website on a wide range of topics, and he also sells various health products. His articles have a very balanced approach, which I think is really helpful in a time when we see a fair number of more extreme ideas. While extreme ideas are fine for some people, many can’t tolerate extreme lifestyle changes for very long.

Garden of Life

This is a vitamin and supplement company that produces whole food and organic based vitamins and supplements at reasonable prices. I am a big fan of their Multi-Vitamin and Probiotic formulas, among others. If you wish to take vitamins or supplements, these can be a good choice.

Dragon Herbs

Founded by Tonic Herbalist Ron Teeguarden, Dragon Herbs specializes in unique herbal teas, tinctures, and supplements. Their customer service is top notch, and their products are some of the highest quality on the market. I use many of their products and would gladly recommend them to anyone. Their digital catalog looks great and it is also full of great information on the various herbs they sell. If you are looking to sample some of what tonic herbalism has to offer, this is a great place to start.

Eden’s Essential Oils

I am a big fan of essential oils and use them extensively every day. I have diffusers running in my house, and my office. I sell the Young Living Brand of Essential Oils at discount for my clients, but while I consider them to be extremely high quality, they are also much more expensive. I have found Eden’s to provide a nice balance of quality and cost, and it makes them an excellent choice for oils you might use a lot of day to day.
